As normal we went around the house to measure all the windows that needed blinds and talked about what her options were and what she would like to have. After careful consideration our 63mm slat sized (the largest slat size) True white wooden venetians were chosen to be the best thing for the living room bay and the dining room window. Upstairs as yet to be installed are two bedroom windows and a bathroom window that requires venetians. Please see our other posting on this job soon. The 63mm wooden slats in white offered all the light she needed and of course privacy. By choosing the largest slat size she was getting close to the slat size used on many internal plantation shutters without the higher price tag. Have a look at the results we were pleased with the results and she was too which is what counts after all.
Our customer was looking for a very modern look on a typical victorian terrace house. She had curtains and nets left from the previous owners of the property she was looking to make her mark on the place. Privacy was an important factor as well as something modern and affordable. Shutters were the original choice but price was a barrier as often is.
