We had been to this customer before and fitted some roller blinds. This time our customer wanted a Roman blind for a window at the back of the house. It needed to be quite plain to fit nicely in with the room decor.
We already had an idea of which blind our customer required. The roman blind is called Como Vanilla. This blind is perfect for this window still allowing some light through during the day with the standard lining but dark enough for a bedroom.
The controls on this blind are traditional cord operated with a locking device in the headrail allowing the blind to lock at the desired height.
Our customer was not sure what they wanted in their windows. They Knew they didn't want nets or curtains and had already had a quote for Plantation shutters which were way out of their price range.
We went through many options for these window including what they wanted from the blinds and their general tastes. Some of the windows open inside (tilt and turn) so we were restricted as to what could work well in these windows without preventing the window from opening. Perfect fit venetians were the best possible answer as they still allow the windows to open easily and also offer privacy and light control that was a must as the house is situated on a main rd with lots of people walking by. The blinds were fitted to all windows at the front making the house look good from the inside and outside. The blind is called 25mm White perfect fit wooden venetian.
Our customer is a previous customer looking to get matching venetians in all windows at the front of their house. The venetian is to replace a old roller blind that didn't offer the privacy they really wanted.
This was easy as our customer had already chosen this blind for other rooms. The blind is called Chiffon and this venetian has 38mm slat widths. These blinds look great in any window and more so when they fit perfectly into a window recess.
