How it works

In just 5 easy steps

  1. View our best buy collection online and using a steel tape measure take down your measurements to see our prices from the drop down menu. Don't worry we will measure properly at your free appointment.
  2. Using our contact form simply add your details and one of our team will get in touch to book in your free appointment. (we work Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm).
  3. At your appointment you will view samples while we measure your windows. Just let us know whether you would like supply only or include our fitting service and we will confirm the price.
  4. You will receive a quote by email. Once accepted you will be invoiced for the blinds. For our fitting service this is paid direct to your fitter on the day.
  5. Once payment is received we will set about getting your order made  (see delivery times). You will be in contacted to arrange a date for delivery or fitting.

As a guide a typical appointment takes less than 15 minutes to measure up and answer any questions you may have.

 

Fitting Appointment

Not keen on installing your blinds? although easy to follow instructions are included with your blind you may just prefer us to handle it all for you. 

Along with a convenient professional fitting service which is quick and clean we guarantee our fitting too.

All of our blinds are made to measure and include our measuring service whether you choose to fit the blinds yourself or let us take care of it all.

We will deliver direct to you for supply only orders or bring your order with us when we install your blinds.

All blinds are fully guaranteed and can be fitted in your home typically within 1-2 weeks!

 

Our Prices

Our prices are conveniently shown on our website for all of our very popular best buy blind collections. For other collections we offer please book a free appointment to view collections and get a free quote.

Our measuring service is completely free and our fitting service is an additional cost. Simply add these prices to the blind cost.

1st Blind = £45, each additional blind add £30 all inclusive of Vat.

Delivery is free on all orders over £300 or if we are installing the blind too. Delivery charge is £15.

 

Our Service To You

Our service to you includes a free measuring service with optional fitting service.

There are some restrictions that we put in place on safety grounds or due to the extra work, costs or tools needed to complete the work. Here are the typical chargeable extras or reasons for not being able to offer our service: 

  • Working Safely - The height of the window or access to the window is out of reach of our ladder (6ft) or is not possible to reach safely without a tower or other safety equipment. If in doubt please send over a photo of the area concerned.
  • Fixing Issues - At your free measuring appointment we can sometimes identify issues with the fitting surface area which will not be suitable for the blind of choice or any blind. We will discuss this with you if this is the case and advise.
  • Extras Required - Our prices are fixed based on our calculation of work involved and cost to array out the work. Sometimes you may need additional fixings such as wooden batons to fix the blinds securely and miss window handles. These will be an additional cost.
  • Parking Fees - You will need to cover the cost of parking as this is not built into our prices. 
  • Rubbish Disposal - This is not included in our pricing. Additional Taking away packaging or old blinds. 
  • Measurements - We do not share our measurements taken. 

Measurements

All of our blinds are bespoke and will be made to our measurements. When we measure we will take and use the smallest width measurement in a recess plus the deductions the factory make for a comfortable professional fit. The factory will make the following reductions to blinds as follows:

Faux Wood Venetians - 15mm will be taken off the width in a recess window

Roller Blinds - 10mm + a cutting tolerance of 3mm +/- 

Vertical Blinds - 10mm from the top and bottom + a cutting tolerance od 3mm +/-


Guarantee & Terms & Conditions

1) Changes, Cancellations & Refunds:
All our blinds/shutters are made to measure (bespoke) because of this we cannot resell them as they are unique to your windows.
All customers must make sure that the details are correct before placing your order and making payment. Once you place your order and payment is taken you have 24hrs to make any amendments or to get a full refund. After this time your blind/shutters(s) will be in production and refunds or amendments are not possible.
On rare occasions there may be delays caused by out of stock materials, shipping delays, industrial disputes or other problems beyond our control. In the event of a known delay, we will contact you to let you know of the situation. Steven Bull Ltd reserves the right to reject any order at its discretion.

2) How & When Is Payment Made:
Payment for our best buy blind collection will be due if full when ordering. If you have chosen our fitting service payment will be due on the fitting day direct to your fitter. We accept Bank Transfer, Card or Cash. 

3) Pricing:
Prices shown on our website and on your order usually include measuring and/or fitting service unless other arrangements have been made. Please check these details are correct when ordering and before your order is placed. Steven Bull Ltd reserves the right to cancel your order if there is an error with our database or order details and the prices are not as they should be.

4) Our Guarantee:
All our blinds are guaranteed for 1 year and shutters 3 years, Should a defect in materials occur within the guarantee period we will repair or replace the defective part without charge to you providing the blind or shutter has not been subject to misuse or negligence.
In the event of a problem after the guarantee period a service charge will be due currently £45.

5) Fitting Dates & Times:
The date given by our advisors is a provisional date only, we will call to confirm the date (Please wait confirmation of fitting date before you take down old window dressings).

6) Our Requirements For Fitting Service To Take Place:
We will need clear access to the window(s) concerned & the use of the electricity supply for power tools to complete the fitting. If you have old window coverings (unless agreed by the fitter) these will need to be removed before fitting.
Please Note, to keep our costs down to you we do not take away the blinds packaging or old window coverings & fixings. This will be your responsibility to dispose of.
