Terms & Conditions: For Supplied Blinds & Shutters
1) Changes, Cancellations & Refunds:
All our blinds & shutters are made to measure (bespoke) because of this we cannot resell them as they are unique to your windows/house.
All customers must make sure that the details are correct before placing your order and making deposit payment. Once you place your order and payment is taken you have 24hrs to make any amendments or to get a full refund. After this time your blinds/shutters/Curtains will be in production and refunds or amendments are not possible.
On rare occasions there may be delays caused by out of stock materials, shipping delays, industrial disputes or other problems beyond our control. In the event of a known delay, we will contact you to let you know of the situation. SJB reserves the right to reject any order at its discretion.
2) How & When Is Payment Made:
We accept Bank Transfer, Card or Cash. A deposit of 50% will be due when ordering with the balance due on fitting day payable direct to the fitter.
3) Pricing:
Prices shown on our website and on your order usually include measuring & fitting service unless other arrangements have been made. Please check these details are correct when ordering and before your order is placed. SJB reserves the right to cancel your order if there is an error with our database or order details and the prices are not as they should be.
4) Our Guarantee:
All our blinds are guaranteed for 1 year and shutters 5 years, Should a defect in materials occur within the guarantee period we will repair or replace the defective part without charge to you providing the blind or shutter has not been subject to misuse or negligence.
In the event of a problem after the guarantee period a service charge will be due currently £45.
5) Fitting Dates & Times:
The date given by our us is a provisional date only, we will call to confirm the date (Please wait for the confirmation of the fitting date before you take down old window dressings).
6) Our Requirements For Fitting Service To Take Place:
We will need clear access to the window(s) concerned & the use of the electricity supply for power tools to complete the fitting. If you have old window coverings (unless agreed by the fitter) these will need to be removed before fitting.
Please Note, to keep our costs down to you we do not take away the blinds packaging or old window coverings & fixings. This will be your responsibility to dispose of.

Terms & Conditions: Independent Fitting Service
- Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our fitting workmanship for 12 months.
- Product Liability: We are not responsible for the quality, operation, fabric, or internal mechanisms of products purchased online. Any product defects, missing parts, or transit damage must be resolved by the customer directly with the online retailer.
- Measurement Accuracy:
- If you (the customer) supplied the measurements, we are responsible only for fitting the product provided. If the product does not fit due to incorrect ordering sizes, our minimum call-out charge remains payable.
- If we provided our paid "Check & Measure" service, we assume full responsibility for the fitAborted Visits & Missing Parts: If an installation cannot be completed due to missing manufacturer components, incorrect customer measurements, or unsafe structural issues with the window lintel/wall, our minimum call-out fee of £50 will apply to cover time and travel.
- On-Site Assessment: We reserve the right to refuse installation if the supplied product is deemed unsafe or entirely unsuitable for the window type.
