You may want to consider faux wood venetians for Kitchens and bathrooms as they are moisture resistant. Choose from a wide selection of colours and wood finishes.

Blindsfitted: White Wooden Venetian Blinds Fitted In Bromley, Kent

We have just installed white real wood venetian blinds to a large door area in Bromley, Kent. Normally we do not recommend venetians over the door area as they are heavy to pull up and would normally require ducking under the blind to access the garden.
